I've had an idea inspired by a few sources, mostly on the independent roleplaying design forum Storygames.

For those who want the short version, I'm going to be producing a booklet of images in the style of Brian Froud's goblins (think of the movie Labyrinth). I'll also be providing a bunch of standard components.

With these illustrations and components, I'm challenging people to create a short game. It could be a new board game, a roleplaying game, or something different; all of the games will then be added to an anthology book (which will be provided with the components needed to play).

Everyone who participates in the project will be able to purchase the final product at a discounted rate (cost price). And everyone will be able to sell copies at market value (or whatever they consider to be fair) to turn a profit for themselves.
