Hi!

I have been trying to upload a one page pdf file in to my published game Evolution Earth: Cataclysm

For some reason it just uploads it forever.

I wonder what the problem is. I tried it with google chrome and IE7.

IE7 said that there is an error in the pdf file? I wonder if there really is since all my earlier pdf uploads have been succesful and I´ve created the pdf´s same way.

pdf size is only about 1 Mb and it´s U.S letter sized and has a 300 dpi

Have you tried recreating the PDF file? Sometimes the software has problems.

I had a one page .psd file on photoshop which I then turned into .pdf file with adobe bridge. I also tried cutepdf software to diminish the pdf file size (actually it got bigger) but I don´t know how to really try to recreate the pdf file?

How?

I would try OpenOffice, that's where all our testing PDFs came from.

You're uploading a document, correct? Could you upload it here (attach to a reply) so we can take a look?

I uploaded it but since I clicked add instead of reply it seems to have appeared under the title "untitled". Well I can put it here too.

edit: I deleted the "untitled"

I notice your PDF is sized for A4 paper.

I'm pretty sure TGC uses American (ANSI) standards, not the "International" (ISO 216) paper sizes; so maybe that's causing a problem?

Actually I have 3 versions of the chart I tried to upload and one was U.S. paper sized, but it couldn´t be uploaded either.

But nevermind. This chart can be downloaded from bgg too. It´s not too important a chart anyway.

Humph. It worked for me (Safari 4, OS X) which just makes this all worse...

Is this the only PDF you're having troubles with? Did you try using the FTP to upload the PDF instead of the web frontend?

You'd think that using a "Portable Document Format" would mean that problems like this wouldn't exist :p
