Basic Gaming In deadEarth
Before you start gaming in deadEarth you need a few things. First, it helps if you have role played before (deadEarth or not). Second, you'll need a few supplies: pencils, paper, character sheets, the Players Handbook, and dice. Third, get yourself acquainted with the world of deadEarth. The following are suggested readings for beginners:

You should get a copy of the Player's Handbook. Once you've got a copy, definitely check out the Briefing, A Little About Dice, and Character Creation. It would be a good idea to read the entire book.
Finally, take a look at the sample campaign, Out of the Frying Pan... from the Player's Handbook. These missions will give you and your friends something to do without too much effort.

Advanced Gaming In deadEarth
After you get a good idea of how to play, start incorporating the information from the remainder of this site into your gaming experience.

You may then wish to download some/all of the supplements. When you get even more advanced, feel free to add your own elements to the game.
