First you must create your game! We've made this as easy as can be. Once you have your game idea, you can download our free templates to start creating cards and game boards, and consult our community of experts in the forums.
The Game Crafter makes it easy for you to sell your game online right after you create it. It's three simple steps.

After you've created your game components, you can upload your game using our simple wizard-based interface. We even provide you with all the pawns, dice, play money, and other game parts you need to flesh out your game!
After uploading your game, our site will tell you exactly how much it costs to manufacture that game. You can buy copies at that price, but you can also set a price that visitors should pay. We split the profit of each sale 50/50, and you get a royalty payment at the end of each month.
You set the price of your game. The price minus the cost to manufacture equals the profit. So if your game costs $8.00 to make, and you set the price at $15.00 then the profit per game will be $7.00.

The profit is split between you and The Game Crafter equally (50% each).
(price - cost)/2 = 50/50
($15 - $8) / 2 = $3.50 each
Then all the sales of your game are tallied up at the end of each month and you get a royalty payment. The payment will be sent to you electronically via PayPal. So if you sold 25 copies of this game this month, your royalty payment would be $87.50.

In the adventure/board game industry it is standard that the distributor of a game takes 30% of the game's sale price, and the retailer takes 40% of its price. That leaves the original game designer with only 30% left for profit.
By those numbers alone we've already beat the amount of profit you'd get in the industry. However, in the industry you must still get your game manufactured and market it out of your 30%.
In addition, if you were to go to India or China you'd have to purchase 2,000 to 5,000 copies of your game at minimum. And then you'd have to store those copies somewhere until you can sell them, if you can sell them. When you sell at The Game Crafter, you have neither of these risks.
At The Game Crafter, we take care of manufacturing, sales, and distribution, which allows us to give you a bigger piece of the pie. That's why we think a 50/50 split on the profit is fair.
First and foremost, TGC is your game manufacturer, distributor, and retailer. Beyond that, there are several other ways we help you sell more games.
As soon as your game is published, we publish it to the scroller on our front page, the splash rotator on the front page of the shop, our new games RSS and atom feeds, our Twitter account, and our Facebook fan page. That helps get your game instant recognition both on our site, and around the web.
We also attend many trade shows and gaming events. We print between 5 and 50 copies of the most compelling games in the shop and take them with us to these shows. You will be paid out of our pocket for these games, and then we hope to make the money back by selling those games at the show.
Though not available yet, we are working out a deal to cross publish our games to Amazon.com. We are also working on deals with brick and mortar retailers that are interested in selling cool new games. When we make these options available, they will eat a big chunk of the game profit, but they'll also help ensure that more of your games are sold to more people around the globe.
