deadEarth is a role-playing game about survival. Many people think it's simply a post-apocalypse sci-fi game, but it is not that simple. Yes dE is set in a sci-fi post-apocalypse future, but the game itself is about the struggle to survive, and how you go about surviving.Playing a character in dE is more difficult than in a lot of RPGs. It is very possible that your character will not live long. If you're used to playing something like AD&D, then it could be quite frustrating to not have a character who lives for 20-some years like they do in that game. In fact, it's possible for your character to die during character creation in dE.
Needless to say, dE is not for the weak of heart.
