The Game of Competitive Engineering
You've been invited to take part in an electronics competition at a nearby college of engineering. All entrants have been given a Toolbox, which contains five main electronic components: a Battery, a Resistor, an Inductor, a Capacitor, and an LED bulb.
Your challenge is to complete a circuit that uses all of these components. Sounds simple enough, but there's more: everyone will be competing on the same circuit board! Space will be tight; your neighbor won't mind if you borrow some power from his Battery, will he? After all, the judges never said that all five need to be YOUR components.
One other important detail: the central power battery on the circuit board is faulty! The power level fluctuates as components are played. Careful! If the power level gets raised too high, you might cause a surge, which may take out any unprotected components, leaving those spots open to your opponents.
On a positive note, your Toolbox also came with a soldering iron! Use Solder to create new paths and secure tile placements. It has a limited amount of uses, but a well placed path may just win you the competition!
