Description
In Legends and Lies you are an up and coming cryptozoologist mounting expeditions in the hopes of proving the existence of unknown creatures such as Bigfoot, The Loch Ness Monster, the Jersey Devil or Extraterrestrials. Your ultimate goal is to gain fame and fortune by being the first cryptozoologist credited with the actual discovery of a new species, making you world famous. Of course the other players are seeking the same fame and fortune you are, so to attain this lofty goal first, you are not above discrediting your fellow cryptozoologist by planting outrageous stories in the tabloid press to discredit their expeditions. Will you become world famous--or go down as another loon in the search for old wives tales? In the hunt for the truth, there is no second place.
Legends and Lies is a rummy style card game with many twists for 2 to 4 players ages 12 and up.
This edition includes the cutest cryptid ever, the Jackalope! It's a two card promo set from the upcoming Cryptid Hunter expansion. Additionally, the Born to Serve game promo card, Ace Reporter, is included.
