A strategic game of preventing and coping with failure in an evolving IT landscape for 2-4 players
Stabil-IT (pronounced "stability") represents a simplified company IT landscape with six IT services. Each service is powered by a number of technical services as well as its application software. However it's a long time since the technical services were brought up to date and they are no longer reliable so they all need to be brought up to date causing chaos to those that fail to plan.
You manage one or two services and need to build up the confidence in your services, fix any failures and try to release new versions of your services. Over the course of the game, your weakest area will start to fail leading to a loss of confidence in that area. If you run out of confidence your service will fail.
Stabil-IT uses a unique roundel mechanism to control available workers and player turn. There are three worker types, used in varying combinations to perform the needed actions. But the worker pool is shared and must be used with care.
Points are scored at the end of the game for appreciation earned and confidence built. Points are lost for unresolved incidents. The player with the highest number of points is the winner.
The game can be played cooperatively or competitively.
NOTE: This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
