Demonstration:
In this game of mildly dangerous archaeological fieldwork and excruciatingly polite academic competition, the players portray academic explorers who have located a former pirate hideaway.
However, the cave containing the treasure is geologically unstable and therefore it is imperative that you maximize the value of the items you remove before it becomes necessary to...conclude that the situation may cause the safety of the researchers to become compromised, making it necessary to vacate the premises.
That is, "run away".
Your pack can only carry a certain volume and your body can only carry a certain weight, so plan carefully what you put into your bag.
Also be aware that your colleagues may, purely in the spirit of sportsmanship, try to help you.
After all, whoever brings back the most valuable load will be the most honored by Her Majesty.
That is, "win."
On a player's turn, he or she gets 3 action points to spend on uncovering items or packing them in his or her bag. Neither the total weight nor the total volume of these items may exceed 15.
When Seismograph cards are turned up, they are added to a separate pile, and if the total of these is 21 or more, each player gets one more turn. The player whose total value of items is the largest is the winner.
