You all have brought so much love to a tiny horror game! <3
The final days of the crowdfund upon us and The Graveyard Shift surpassed the 50 copies tier (bringing the total discount for everyone to 25%! bringing the cost per copy to just over $11)! This is the largest, and widest, selling and most popular game Fractured Pawn as developed so far all thanks to you! We have pledges all over the world, from North America (CA & USA) to Europe (UK, France, & Germany)! I can not believe this little game has reached so far!
As of now, with the ammount of bulk copies and demand from The Game Crafter shipping is speculated to be around Aug. 22nd and with standard shipping (depending on where you live) should be at your doorstep around early September-October (in time for the spookiest month of the year)!
Once again, I want to thank everyone who has backed and shared the project so far! Every pledge and post helps spread the awareness of this fun little game being sold at a great discount! <3 And if this is you first time seeing the game I hope you are intrigued enough to back it in the remaining time or share it with someone who may!
Continuing from the last update, as The Graveyard Shift was origionally a multiplayer game, I had done a lot of math to etermin how many cards players were going to need or use to keep their lanterns lit and what kind of monsters they would encounter.

Players would be able to play the horrors of the night against their opponents and randomly draw moon/time advancing cards that would speed up the round, causing players to think about what cards would be best for them to play in the unknown time tey had left (as cards would all be mixed together. As I began to realize that there was not much strategy to this playstyle other than draw, replenish, or hit; So I set the game aside to figure out the details later. Once I had come to the conclusion that I was going the be making a single player game, I started to think about what if monsters were not the only thing a player could incounter and include various 'events' at random, both with differnet outcomes that could either help you continue through the game or hurt you causing you to lose sooner. I started to track random and differnt outcomes linking them to a simple roll of the die in my notes app. These card options became the cards you see in game today; and althogh not all the cards in the image made it into this game, be on the look out for them in future editions of The Graveyard Shift Series!

That is all for now! I will post another update in a few days when the crowdfung campaign ends. In the meantime, thank you so much for reading and backing The Graveyard Shift, please share the crowdfund link around and see you next time for more updates!
