Hello Community!

February was a big month for new products. We released 2 new types of high quality boxes and a bunch of new board game pieces. Our production team worked hard to bring the production queue down so that orders are shipping faster. Scroll down to see the new stuff and be sure to check out our new contest!

Medium Stout Box

Medium Stout Box

The Game Crafter has a new custom printed game box that it can make for board game designers. It’s called the Medium Stout Box and it matches the premium quality and durability of our Large Stout Box and Small Stout Box. This game box is made of rugged 70pt chipboard and it measures 6.125 x 9 x 2.25 inches (156 x 229 x 57 mm). Designers can choose between 2 versions of the box, where their custom artwork will either be printed on the whole box or just the top and sides of the box. Look at the photo above to see the difference.

The Medium Stout Box (Top and Sides) version costs $8 per box. The Medium Stout Box (with printing on the whole box) costs $9 per box. Our best bulk price on these boxes is $7 and $8, respectively.

We are also pleased to announce that we’ve been able to reduce our costs for the Medium Pro Box and so we’re passing the savings on to you. The Medium Pro Box used to be $9 per box, but now it is only $8 per box! Anyone who has a game that’s published in this box will see the cost adjust to the new price automatically.

Deck Box

Deck Box

The Game Crafter can now make custom printed Deck Boxes! They come in 3 versions: Blank ($5), Top and Sides Printed ($8), and Fully Printed ($9). The interior dimensions are 3.75 x 8 x 3 inches and it has the same rigid 2mm chipboard construction as our Stout Boxes.

The Deck Box holds 625 unsleeved poker cards or 460 sleeved poker cards. If you want to stay organized, you can easily print and add divider cards to the box as well. Check out the photo below to see the difference between the “Top and Sides Printed” and the “Fully Printed” versions. (Fully Printed is printed on the back of the box as well.)

10 Riddles, 2000 Parts

10 Riddles, 2000 Parts Contest

The Game Crafter is hosting our next contest to celebrate that we now have over 2,000 board game pieces, game accessories, and game upgrades in our shop!

Here's how it works:

We have 10 riddles on Rafflecopter and each riddle will have a clue (written or visual) about a specific board game piece, game upgrade, or game accessories in our shop. Your job is to figure out what that item is and then paste the full URL to the product in the answer field for each riddle. This is half riddle, half scavenger hunt! :) The contest begins 03/06/19 at 12:00pm ET and ends on 03/16/19 at 12:00pm ET.

Winners will be chosen randomly in the Rafflecopter app. The first winner will need to have a correct answer for the first riddle. The second winner will need to have a correct answer for the second riddle. The third winner will need to have a correct answer for the third riddle, and so on. Once 10 winners are picked, the 4 top prizes of "$25 TGC shop credit + Doctor Esker's Notebook" will be randomly given out to 4 winners and the other 6 winners will receive the runner up prize of $5 in TGC shop credit. In addition, they will also receive a copy of Doctor Esker's Notebook as long as they have answered all 10 riddles correctly!

We'd like to thank David Dobson from Plankton Games for co-sponsoring this contest with us. He actually created the riddles for the contest and he is the designer of Doctor Esker's Notebook. It's a new kind of puzzle game that includes 73 cards and has 9 devious puzzles to solve.
