Airy Wands Tarot classic size

The 79-card Airy Wands Tarot is a companion piece to my first Tarot deck, the gorgeous Fiery Wands Tarot: it has the same mysterious and beautiful Major Arcana, Cups and Pentacles. However, in the Airy Wands Tarot, the correspondences of Wands and Swords are reversed, so that Swords mean Fire and Wands mean Air.

Like the Fiery Wands Tarot, the Airy Wands version has these variations from the Rider-Waite deck:

• Instead of the High Priestess, Juno with dagger, spear and peacock... but you could see her as a high priestess

• Instead of the Hierophant, Jupiter with thunderbolt and eagle.

There is also an extra, bonus "Juggler" card as an alternative to the Magician.

These variations are inspired by the old medieval deck, the Tarot of Besançon, which has "The Juggler", "Juno" and "Jupiter" as the first, second and fifth cards. I chose that deck as a model because Besançon is a special place for me - it was the destination of my very first ever journey to a foreign country at the age of 17 - and it seemed as if it was meant to be.

The "action shots" at the bottom of the page show every single card in the deck. When printed out and cropped, the cards will have rounded corners. These tall cards are of the traditional size for Tarot cards.

On the back is a reversible "Smiling Suns" design, but just contact me if you would like a different design. I will be very happy to oblige, and will create a new variation just for you!
