The Alchemist Oracle is a divination tool based upon the symbols and concepts of classical alchemy. Thirty-six cards include the four classical Elements and the three Prime substances; the four Stages, seven Processes and seven Noble Metals of the Great Work; and additional significant Substances and Concepts related to alchemical philosophy. The cards are small and simple, meant as a symbol system rather than a more artistic Tarot deck. Each symbol still carries a weight of complex significance. Each concept and its related meanings are summarized in a Reader's Guide*. The Alchemist Oracle is particularly useful for questions related to personal goals, development, and spiritual progress, as it links the transformation of the self to the transmutations of physical alchemy.
