Description

The main goal of this project is to help applicants prepare for the civics portion of the interview required to become a naturalized citizen of the United States. Naturalization is the manner in which a person not born in the United States voluntarily becomes a U.S. citizen. The interview process is one of the final steps in the process and during the interview the applicant is asked 10-15 questions about US government, politics, current elected officials, US history, and US geography. Every year the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) puts out a 100 question preparatory test in which 10-15 are taken to used during the interview. This project takes those questions have creates a fun, motivating, and educational board game intended to help prepare for the interview.
