Basic ESP Basketball Game with Ten Generic Players

Let’s have some fun anticipating the moves of the opposing coach in this fast-paced and exciting card game! This basic version of the game includes no real-life player cards. Instead, five "Blue" and five "Gold" player cards are provided to create a completely balanced coaching challenge between opponents.

As in real basketball, the object of Extra Sensory Perception “ESP” Basketball is to score more points than your opponent. Scoring occurs when each coach calls a play and points (0 through 10) are awarded using the ESP strategy chart card and player card ratings for eight different skills. Game play is as easy as that. But make no mistake, winning will require that you outsmart your opponent by using players wisely and anticipating the other coach's moves.

For example, if there are just under 5 minutes left in the game and you lead 83-76, do you coach aggressively and try to put the game away with a 10-point round, or do you make a more cautious play call and settle for fewer points? Regardless, your opponent's defensive alignment in anticipation of your decision will directly impact your success. That's the excitement of ESP Basketball!

You, as coach, must try to maximize your team's skills during 45 minutes of challenging game play. Gamers looking for an abbreviated challenge can complete a shortened game in as little as 15 minutes. Game strategies remain the same.
