Bright Tarot When I was learning tarot, the people in the pictures confused me. I drew Bright Tarot to understand how the cards work together better. May these drawings brighten your intuition! Comes with a Little White Book that gives insight into the deck and esxplains the Major Arcana and a digital guide to the Minor Arcana available for download after purchase.
The Second Edition The drawings have been made more dynamic, with more depth and motion and all four suits echo the Universal Tarot language a little closer. The biggest change is the suit of "pips" (first edition it was "cogs") which adds to the overall brightness of the deck and brings the dimension of earth-bound growth, illustrated by seeds (pips) and blooms.
Court Cards
While there are no people shown in the Bright Tarot, the deck retains the court hierarchy of the court we know from the Universal Tarot System, depicting the passive (Page, or Courier), active (Knight, or Champion), receptive (Queen, or Grace) and integrated (King, or Sovereign) modes of each suit.
Major Arcana
Major Arcana cards indicate “large energy,” big changes, or universal influences that shape the energy of a situation. These are concept cards. Numbered from 0-21, the Major Arcana are 22 in total. Viewed in numerical order, Bright Tarot considers each Arcanum a step, or building block leading from one to the next, and returning to the beginning thus completing a cycle. (The Bright Tarot Fool is a double-backed card — it has no number and looks the same on the face as it does on the back.)
These colorful cards come with a linen texture and uv coating for extra durability and vibrance. Included with the deck is one art card and two blank cards for the user to interpret or add art to the deck. There is also a Little White Book that explains the concept of the Bright Tarot and suggests meanings and interprations as well as a sample spread for users to get to know the deck.
