Cannaboss Game Academic version

Test your knowledge of all things cannabis! The object of the game is to answer enough questions to be the cannaboss. The Academic Version of the game is in-depth and challenging. The game includes 288 cards, including all of the questions in the recreational version plus 90 additional more challenging questions, as well as dice, a notepad, and pencil.

There are 2-3 teams per game, and 2-3 players per team. There are questions about history of marijuana, laws, business, economics, the cannabis plant, and the effects on the body. The cards include “knowledge” cards and “action” cards. Knowledge cards are multiple choice, true/false, and short answer. Action cards are charades, forbidden words, and drawing.

The game was developed by Dr. Martha Rosenthal, Professor of Physiology/Neuroscience at Florida Gulf Coast University and Director of the Cannabis Research, Education, and Workforce initiative. Dr. Rosenthal has degrees in biology, neuropharmacology, and neuroscience. She has published and presented on the use of educational games in the classroom. She recently published the textbook, Drugs: Mind, Body, and Society. New York: Oxford University Press.
