Rules of Battle How to Win: All Righteous Players must have a Maturity Level of 3 and each player must have 2 or less Active Evil Habituals by the end of 10 rounds. As soon as those conditions are met, the Righteous Side wins. A Round is when all players each had a turn. Use a counter to keep track of the rounds. All Resistance cards may be played during the Resistance Phase. If there are no Temptation cards to resist, you may still play them and reap other benefits. Each Righteous Player starts with a Maturity Level of 0 and a Power Level of 3. You can never go below 0 power. Every time a player's Power gets to 10 or more, he or she increases a Maturity Level and Power starts over at 0. The player who increased in Maturity gets to choose one Maturity Level Abilities below. There may be other ways to increase your Maturity Level depending on different cards. How to Lose: At the end of any Discard Phase, if all players have a combined sum of more than 5 Active Evil Habituals multiplied by the number of Righteous Players or more Active Evil Habituals in play, you all collectively lose the game. Maturity Level Abilities As you increase in Maturity and Power, you will Gain abilities as you play. When you increase from one Maturity Level to the next, then choose 1 (if playing with only 2 players, when achieving mid-level 5 Power also gain one):
All Players have Intercession and Habitual Resistance and may play Resistance cards during other Righteous Player's Resistance Phase to help resist temptations.
Benevolence: You may help other Righteous Players by rotating cards in your Cost Zone Double Resistance: You may now Spend/Rotate the cost of the Evil Temptation to Resist it if you want instead of playing a Resistance card Brotherly Love: You may help other Righteous Players by playing a card and choosing the effects to benefit that player. Vibrancy: If your Hand has 2 cards or less, you may flip your cards in your Cost Zone face up. and play them as if they were in your Hand Speed: You may put cards from your Hand to the Cost Zone at Unction speed. Foresight: Reveal the cards that the Evil Deck will Draw during your Cost Zone phase. Mature Together When all Players reach a Maturity Level (ie. All players reach Maturity Level 2 or more. players may collectively choose one of these Abilities for All Players) Double Resistance for ALL Vibrancy for ALL Brotherly Love for ALL Double Resistance for ALL Speed for ALL Foresight for ALL
