Description

In drink., players take turns playing a card from their hand, each with a different and wonderful effect.

There are three types of cards:
• Blue — These cards are played during your turn, and generally will make somebody else at the table drink.
These cards can be challenged by Red cards.
• Green — These cards generally have unique effects, such as making everybody at the table drink.
These cards can not (usually) be challenged by Red cards.
• Red — Instead of being played during your turn, Red cards are played after somebody else has played a Blue card.
These cards will let you force somebody else to take the hit from a Blue card played against you!

How the game works:
• The deck is placed in the middle, and each player draws five cards.
• The first player draws a new card, and can choose to play a Blue or Green card.
• If they played a Blue card, they must declare the target(s) of the effect.
• The targeted player(s) can then choose to play a Red card in response.
• The next player takes their turn.

There are two ways to play drink.:

Sandbox Mode:
• This mode can be played indefinitely, or until the deck runs out of cards. This is a great mode to get you pumped up for a night on the town or at a party while you wait for your ride. There is no winner or loser, this method is just for fun, and you can play with whatever drinks you'd like.

Competitive Mode:
• In Competitive Mode, one player will triumph over the others by playing his or her cards strategically and coming out with the most drinks remaining.
• Each player is assigned a number of standard cups and, similar to Beer Pong, these cups are filled with beer or another agreed upon beverage.
• When a player runs out of cups, they are out of the game. Every time this happens, the discard pile is shuffled back into the deck. (You should also reshuffle if the deck runs out of cards.)
• The amount of cups given to players will vary depending on the length of the game that you would like, but five or six works well.

At the end of the day, the most important thing is that you have fun, so feel free to modify the rules to suit your group and play any way that you'd like.
