Dungeon Race

Story

You and your colleagues recently heard rumors that the legendary Coin from Beyond has been found in the ruins of a nearby dungeon. Apparently, the Cult of the Triune is already there and they are already attempting to use the coin to summon the horrible spirits they worship. You consider all members of the cult to be monsters, even the ones who don't look it. And you consider yourselves to be heroes, so it seems fitting for you to head down there and stop the cultists from using that coin for whatever nefarious ritual they had in mind. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the coin is one of the most valuable artifacts in the known world. You are sure the rumors of the coin's discovery will have spread quickly, so you won't be the only team trying to recover it. You prepare quickly and head to the dungeon ruins. On the way, you keep hoping the coin is still there to make this venture worthwhile, as no one is going to pay you just for beating up cultists.

Gameplay

In Dungeon Race, you and an opponent each draw three distinct hero cards and are each dealt five unique monster cards. You each try to battle your way through your five monsters as quickly as possible and defeat the single shared boss at the center of the dungeon. However, each round the available abilities are determined by a roll of the dice, and you and your opponent are both drawing from the same dice pool. You will have to choose how to best prioritize which actions you take, as your opponent will no doubt be taking the best actions for themselves as well. If your opponent takes a die you need, you may just have to change your strategy. But there are always paths to victory! Can you maximize your attacks, power up your heroes, keep your party healed, cut down your monsters, and slay the boss, all before your opponet does the same? Sounds like it's time for DUNGEON RACE!
