You will be playing the role of an ever-evolving species of animal, vying for superiority and your own niche in a harsh environment populated with other players attempting to do the same. Be the first player to successfully complete 5 challenges to prove your species the most adapted to the environment, to claim victory!

While every player will start as a lowly species of sloth, you'll quickly adapt into many different species (there are 40 animals total!) - you can even crossbreed to get certain traits from multiple animals, for example becoming some kind of monkey-skunk-tiger hybrid abomination.

Each of the 40 animals play very differently, and are balanced - though what animals will fare best comes down to what animals your opponents have opted for. Through strategy and a degree of chaos, you'll all be races to finish key objectives, with the first player to do so winning the game!

Each turn, each of you have 3 actions to make. However, there are only limited choices available, and so players are constantly fighting over these actions and trying to ensure they are in a position to get the best possible choices. On top of this, turns slowly cycle through 6 seasons, with the warmer summer seasons providing an abundance of options, while the harsher winter seasons descend players into a more cutthroat period of survival.

The game board itself is always random, as are the animals available for each player to evolve into.
