Enhance your poker playing with this beautifully designed deck of whimsical and fantastical paintings of an Enchanted Forest.
The deck contains all appropriate cards for any poker game including Bridge, Cribbage, Rook, Texas Hold'Em, etc.
My inspiration for this project was drawn from memories of my childhood. Growing up my mother would always read mother goose nursery ryhmes or fairy tales and I distinctly remember art from Ruth Sanderson and Scott Gustafson permeating these stories. She would also do puzzles featuring these artists and one of my favorites (Merlin and Arthur as a young boy in Merlin's shop) sits at home on the wall.
Each card features it's own illustration that I hope invokes this same sentiment. A sort of vintage, airy, magical quality of mostly bright tones and soft pastels.
Enjoy a game of poker with friends while at the same time traipsing through these magical, enchanting, woods.
