Welcome to the world of GEMMON!

This world is inhabited by strange creatures known as GEMMON. A long time ago, they posed a great danger to us. Until we discovered the mystical GEMs! GEMs allow us to catch GEMMON and form a bond with them. Now they stand beside us as invaluable partners! To some, GEMMON are pets. Others have them do battle. These people gather every four years in a grand tournament to see whose bond with their GEMMON is most unbreakable: the ULTRA CHAMPIONSHIP! The current ultra champion has stood undefeated for decades. Maybe you’ll be able to defeat him this year? Hahaha, just kidding. Maybe once you get your BELLEGON to listen to you, you might stand a chance getting through the first round!

GEMMON and the Ultra Championship is a solo card game - you’ll be catching, training and using GEMMON to (try and) defeat the current regional champion. Before you can do that, you must defeat other challengers first, climbing your way up on the ladder! To catch GEMMON and defeat challengers you’ll be fighting against them in GEMMON BATTLES. These are 1-on-1 fights between GEMMON, where their trainers take turns to command their GEMMON to use one of their 4 moves. Every game you'll train a different team with different moves, so try out all kinds of different combinations on your way to become a GEMMON master!
