Hawks & Hares is a quick dice game for 3 or more players. Players are responsible for maintaining a balance of hawks and the hares they eat in their fields. On their turn, a player sends their hawks to hunt the fields of other players in the hopes of increasing the number of their own raptors. Be the one with the most hawks at the end of the game to win.
The game plays over the course of 7 rounds with a minimum player count of 4 and a maximum player count limited only by the size of your group. Group sizes of 12 or less are recommended for ease of play.

If you don't have dice and pennies, you can get both dice and tokens through The Game Crafter.
Hawks & Hares was designed to be quick, easy, and fun to play around a table with friends while embedding basic science behind predator-prey relationships. It can also be played in a classroom to explore patterns in population growth and decline in predators and their prey.
Proceeds from the sale of Hawks & Hares are used to distribute copies of games to educators across Michigan for use in their classrooms to complement the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' curriculum packages.
