A fun, quick to learn card game for all. Rules listed here.
Difference Between Rounds and Turns
Every time the play is passed on to you, you begin your turn. It ends when you finish all of your actions. Rounds, however, end when all the players have played, and the first player is about to start his/her turn.
Setting Up the Game
At the beginning of the game, separate the goal cards from the spell/combo cards. Shuffle each deck individually. Have all players draw seven cards from the combo/spell card deck. Draw four cards from the goal deck and lay them, facing up, in the middle of the playing field.
The Turns
When your turn begins, see if you can match any of your combo cards to the goal cards in the middle. See the matching section for more info. You may choose not to, or play a spell. There is no specific order to the playing, but spell cards may only be played once per turn. At the end of your turn, you must pass two of the cards in your hand to the person who will play next. Then, discard two more cards. Finally, draw two cards. A good trick to remember this is pass 2, trash 2, grab 2. Your turn then ends and the next person goes.
Matching
If one of the combo cards in your hand matches any of the goal cards currently in the middle, you may discard your combo card and take the goal card. Put the goal card in front of you. Immediately replace the taken card by a card from the goal deck. If the goal card has multiple combinations on it, you must have both corresponding combo cards in your hand.
Winning the game
Every goal card has a number on it, and when you get a goal card, that many points goes to you. When a player has 15 points or more, they win the game.
