Inept Evil Genius

You are an Evil Genius working to make a nefarious name for yourself. The problem is you’re not a very good Evil Genius. Your contraptions frequently blow up on you, doing more harm than good.

But you press on, trying to amass more Loot than your opponents, hoping your next great invention won’t explode…yet again.

How do you know when an invention will explode? Simple, you control it! The deck includes Backfire cards. Play these at the worst possible times to make your opponents' inventions blow up on them.

Aww. Your Temporal Disruptor blew up on you making you lose your next turn? So sorry. (hehehe)

CHEATING:

That’s right, cheating. Oh yes. As an Evil Genius, you’re one of the bad guys. Cheating is what you’re supposed to do! With that in mind, you can choose to allow cheating if you wish. You have to be sneaky about it though, because if you get caught you must pay a penalty. But if you think you can get away with it--or if you think what you gain is worth more than the penalty--go for it!

GAME CONTENTS:

• 79 card Invention Deck
• 20 card Loot Deck
• 9 Character cards
• Rules
• Box

GAME PLAY:

On your turn you will take an action (play a card or discard a card) and then draw back up to 5 cards in your hand.

Sounds simple, but the cards keep everything changing. Earn Loot. Steal Loot. Make someone discard their Loot. There are even cards that let you steal someone’s turn.

And most importantly there are the Backfire cards that let you decide when another players’ invention will explode.

The game continues until either deck is empty. The player who has managed to amass the most Loot wins.

WHAT IS ART-FREE GAMES?

We believe that artwork is great, and makes a game pretty. But ultimately whether you love a game or hate it will be based on how fun it is to play.

Games are about sitting down with friends and family--and possibly Old Aunt Matilda (she won't get the game, but she's always up for a laugh)--and having fun.
