Gameplay---SMALL.png

The actions taken by a player changes as the game progresses. In the early rounds, players take turns selecting resources, from an open draft, to built raft tiles, sails and rudders as well as stock their raft with food and water for the journey ahead.

Players need to choose how long to stay on the island. As rafts are bulit, players push their luck, leaving the island and hope they have collected enough food and water to make it to their goal before it runs out!

Building-a-Raft.png

Once a raft has left for the open sea, gameplay changes. Each player sailing takes two resource cards, however when sailing, these cards show the direction and distance their raft will move. Rudders and sails allow players to collect move cards and select their desired direction.

Rudders and sails can help guide a raft in the right direction but the weather can be unpreditable and change your course! Weather cards are placed in a row in front of all players and show when storms will arrive. If a stormy seas weather card is active then the weather dice is rolled which may change the direction, distance or both for this turn!

Solo-Mode---SMALL.png

Solo mode has alot of the same gameplay as the multiplayer verision. However, a black pirate ship is sailing and if it catches you then the game is over!

The weather is also not on your side! in solo mode cyclone season is coming and if you don't make it to a settlement before the cylone arrives then every turn you roll the weather die. Storms in solo mode may cuase a player to loss food and water or even sials, rudders and raft tiles!

The objective of solo mode is to make it to a settlemet before the weather breaks apart your raft or the pirates get you!
