Description

The Origin of Klashe:

Tomas Flores, a 9 year old student was worried about how well he might do with his math tests at the end of the year. He wasn't doing badly in math, but he did want to make math fun. He knew about other math games, but they were all boring. Then, he had an idea. Why not make a math game that's actually fun!! And so Klashe was born!

With the help of his step-dad, Jake, he was able to finish the project.

The Game of Klashe is about wit, knowledge, mathematical skill and chance. It can be played with 2 to 4 players.

The object of the game is to obtain more points than your opponents by using your math skills to either add, subtract, multiply or divide the results of two twelve sided dice.

Rules: Each player rolls their pair of dice. Then, one of the players draws a card. The card shows what operation must be performed or what action must be taken. Remember to always roll the dice first and then draw a card. The game will end when the last card has been drawn. Then Points are tallied.

Operations include: Add Subtract Multiply Divide Switch (add, subtract, multiply or divide)

Who ever has the highest number from the answer of their dice receives 1 point

If both players roll the dice and the answer to their equation equals the same amount, there will be a Klashe.

Rules of a Klashe. During a Klashe, the operation that was performed to create the Klashe will be used. the players who have matching answers will roll their dice. In the first round, the answer for the Klashe is doubled (EX: if one player rolls a 5X5 and another Player Rolls a 3X4, the result of the highest roll is the winner and their result is doubled. In this example The player who rolled 5X5 would receive 25X2 = 50 as their point value)

Double Klashe: If the Klashe happens again and both of the players who Klashe get the same answer, they will roll again. At this point the points are now tripled. (Example: if both players rolled two dice that had the same answer, they would then roll again and the result of the highest answer would be rewarded the amount of their answer tripled.)

Triple Klashe: The same rules apply for the Klashe and the double Klashe, but now the answer of the two dice is now Quadrupled.

Klashe with Divide 20 Point Card: If players Klashe with a divide card, the winner of the Kashe will only receive the double, triple or quadruple of 20 points. Not the amount of the answer.

The Switch: The Switch happens when a switch card is drawn. If two players are playing, they must switch their dice with the other player and receive the results of their answer from the roll. Whoever has the largest answer receives that amount in points. If more than two people are playing, the players must pass their dice to the person on their left.
