What does the Conquest expansion (included) add to the base game?

• Adds 2 new Nobles and their Maps, bringing the total to 5, increasing replayability and offering a wider range of difficulty.
• Adds 2 new basic unit types to the game: Crossbowmen and Men-at-Arms for more variety.
• Introduces Mercenaries: Elite soldiers for hire who can have a drastic impact in battle.
• Introduces Prize Cards: Rewards earned after defeating a Noble that grant immediate or ongoing effects throughout the game.
• Introduces Settlement Cards: Begin your rise to the throne from humble beginnings as a hamlet or from a wealthy city rich in resources. Settlement Cards let you adjust the game’s difficulty by increasing or decreasing starting subjects and resources.
• Adds 4 new Event Cards for more variety.
• Replaces the original Battle Cards with 12 new ones, adding greater diversity and reducing downtime from shuffling.
• A few minor rule changes to enhance gameplay.
