Description
The chest creaks as you open it to reveal the gems hidden inside. Your eyes sparkle as you imagine the intricate woodwork you can now afford for your pegleg. All that's left is to split the plunder fairly and you can all go your own merry way.
Oh, wait. We're talking about pirates here. Fair isn't in your vocabulary, but gambling is. Guess it's time to see which one of you can outwit and outbluff the rest to grab the most booty!
Pirate Booty Grab is played over several rounds, each one consisting of 4 phases.
1. The Draft: Players draft gem cards until they each have 4.
2. The Market: Players spend 2 of those gems to purchase block tokens.
3. The Block: Players use their block tokens to prevent others from grabbing certain gems.
4. The Grab: Players reveal their remaining gems and score points if the gems weren't blocked.
Be the first player to reach 13 points and you win! Can you deduce which gems your opponents chose? Only one way to find out!
