Welcome to the world of Regascent...

With the death of the King of Tessera, turmoil stirs in the land. Champions must rise from throughout the realm to establish the next reign over the kingdom.

Regascent: Contest of Champions, captures the Adventure these Champions will embark on and the Arena they will compete in.

Players choose between four Champions, various draft cards, and allies to begin their epic journey to ascend the throne and claim the crown for the good of Tessera.

Complete Quests, skirmish bandits, collect gear, gain Renown, and finally, stand your ground against your opponents in a daunting Arena battle.

The last Champion standing wins the crown and the right to rule. Tessera will enjoy another reign of a worthy king. Do you have the wit and might to rule Tessera?

Game Summary

Regascent: Contest of Champions is played in two phases: the Adventure Phase and the Arena Phase. You win by being the last Champion standing in the Arena Phase.

The Adventure Phase

Take turns completing any three actions. You may choose between:

1. Move/Skirmish Check/Bandit Check
2. Work
3. Quest Check/Turn In
4. Purchase a Card

Pro Tip! If you don't think you did well in the Adventure Phase, don't give up! You aren’t guaranteed a loss in the Arena Phase, push on through to the end of the game!

Once enough Bandits are defeated and/or Quests turned in, the Adventure Phase is closed and the Arena Phase is set up!

The Arena Phase

After organizing the Arena...

Take turns drawing cards from your deck and/or taking coins from your pile, no more than three total per turn, then spend the coins to play cards and activate different abilities to tactfully out-manuever and defeat the opposing Champions!

Pro Tip! Leads are often lost. Skill, cunning, and might serve as the ingredients of the recipe for victory!
