Rocky’s Scholarly Shenanigans is an adaptable educational game designed for learning critical executive function skills that are essential for student success and wellbeing. Challenge and Experience cards explore 8 components of executive function through common college scenarios. These include self-control, self-monitoring, emotional control, flexibility, task initiation, organization, planning and time management, and working memory.
The game can be useful in a multitude of settings! Use it in freshman courses to explore executive function principles, or as part of an admissions or student success event. The game can also be useful in high school classrooms & for outreach events!
