Description

Add a little improv to your training!

Roommate Conflict is a card game designed to accompany the training of the commonly named Residence Life Resident Assistant student position. These cards reflect experiences from a multitude of schools and departments and is fun and interesting for new and veteran staff alike because it frames conversations and fosters the sharing of experiences for the supervisor to cover.

Specifically, Roommate Conflict is a role-playing improvisation game that gets your staff out of their chairs and into the action. They will act out situations and be surprised by twists mid-mediation. Using 3 students, one will confront the other two. The other two will hold cards that tell them what their issue is in the upcoming mediation. Your confronter then attempts to mediate the two as their issues come to light, just like a real situation!

Roommate Conflict is a training card game for employees of university residence life. Use this game to introduce your students to real-life situations, build team-work, and foster a supportive environment.

Players: 3-8; Time: 20-40 min; Age: 18+ Contents: (36) cards, (1) manual.
