"Hello, mister! You pass away? I'm talkin' to you!"
While there are no Jackie Mason lines in this deck (I mean, really, who wants to get sued?), the spirit of Yiddishkeit angst and irreverence is alive and well in Rummyschmuck.
This is a classic 52-card deck with two wild cards that you can use to play any of your favorites with your friends, family and accountant (who likely is a friend or family member).
All kinds of archetypes you've encountered at a Sukkah or Christmas Eve singles event are hanging out in this deck, adding a little horseradish spice to to your normal game of cards.
Some game suggestions include:
The regular game of Gin Rummy, but you only need a total of 30 to "go down" and place your cards on the board. Also, all food and drink cards are wild. The person who draws the Yenta card has the power to add 100 points to any other player and subtract 100 from any other.
The Nebbish card is wild, and the Goniff card means you immediately have to fold, regardless of whatever other cards you're holding. After all, $40 pastrami sandwiches can't go unpunished.
Drawing the Catskills Entertainer card means you or the dealer gets two free hits - if you bust, you can replace the card and try again. If you bust again, you can once again replace the card. If you bust the third time, well, leave the Castkills early to beat the traffic.
