Shots and Shanties

Overview:

The War of Spanish Succession ended in 1714 leaving hundreds of privateers unemployed. That is until one wily captain decided to take measures into their own hands. Rumours were flying around the Caribbean about the Abadesa de Leon, the richest treasure galleon to ever sail the seven seas. But its whereabouts were unknown.

Join forces with other pirates and sail the Caribbean and gather clues to find the Abadesa. Build your ship and drink to activate your abilities. Sing sea shanties. Plunder merchant ships and raid cities! But avoid the pirate hunters and angry local authorities.

Do you and the crew have what it takes to bring down the Abadesa and start your own golden age of piracy? Play Shots and Shanties, hoist the black flag and start your legacy! ...... before you pass out drunk!

Summary of Play:

Choose to play as the Captain or one of 9 characters and sail the Caribbean in search of clues for the Abadesa de Leon.

Attack ships and plunder cities to gather Loot that will help level-up your ship and find clues. Bribe local officials to keep the colonial authorities and pirate hunters off your back. Drink to activate your character's abilities and sing sea shanties to help resolve clues and keep morale up.

Once you resolve enough clues and find the Abadesa, board her to take her plunder! Divide your winnings amongst the crew and celebrate over a glass of rum! Fail and sleep in Davy Jones's locker.
