Solitaire Adventure: Bok'Tyr Castle

Bok’Tyr Castle is the first game in the Solitaire Adventure line.

Bok'Tyr castle has been abandoned for years. Old traps wait to catch the unwary. Orcs and goblins roam the halls. Evil spirits hunger for flesh. A fire-breathing dragon has made the castle her lair.

As a new adventurer, you are drawn to the castle knowing you will find loot and glory.

If you survive.

CAMPAIGN:

Any Solitaire Adventure game can be played as a single game or played as a campaign. The game comes with six Character Class cards. To start a campaign, simply pick any two classes. You could be an Archer Monk, a Berserker Cleric, a Wizard Thief, or any of 15 combinations of Class cards.

Your character starts with only 1 skill. As you play a series of games, you will use the Loot you gain to buy more skills, eventually earning all 6 skills.

For each skill you have, the game gets an Adventure Level. Adventure Levels make the game harder. As you get stronger, so does the adventure.

GAME PLAY:

The game is played in a series of turns. First you take your turn, then the adventure gets a turn. This continues until you have either run out of Health (the adventure wins) or you have dealt with every card in the deck (you win).

In your turn, you get 2 actions. You can use these actions to acquire new gear or loot, use gear you already own, fight foes, or disarm hazards.

In the adventure's turn, you will be hit by any foes or hazards that you didn’t defeat. And you will discard any gear or loot that you didn’t acquire. Then you set up the next area of the adventure and press on.

Solitaire Adventure is a strategic game about making the best choices you can with your limited actions. Choose your actions wisely, because you never have as many actions as you need.
