Steam Toads: Zeppelin Zaniness

Created for the 2012 Gamecrafter 'Steampunk Design Contest'.


"Toad Ace.

An extremely prestigious title that’s given only to the most elite of the Steam Toads. The very title inspires awe because it means that its wielder has taken to the sky in a steam powered airship and has left devestation in his wake.

An extremely prestigious title and an extremely coveted one.

As a Steam Toad, you take to the sky with your newly built airships - Zeppelins and Biplanes - in hopes of claiming that title for your own. It will take flawless strategy and nerves of steel to overcome your opponents; all of whom have their eyes on the title of Toad Ace as well.

But beware, there are enemies other than the obvious. Sky Pirates and floating mines are scattered across the sky, waiting to make a short end of any Toad that fails to tax all of their ability.

The battle for the sky has begun.

In Steam Toads: Zeppelin Zaniness, Toads take to the sky in pursuit of the coveted title: Toad Ace.

What makes this game unique:
- This game takes place in the Steam Toads universe. Toads and vehicular mayhem? Simply awesome!
- Each player controls two different airships (a Zeppelin and a Biplane) with their own unique abilities.
- The game system operates off of a point system. Players have eight ability points to spend on their turn, and can spend them on actions in any variety of ways. This makes each turn different!
- Pirates and mines inhabit the sky, creating a different game board each play.

Toads, man your airships - destruction awaits!
