Description

What is Tetra Battle?:

Tetra battle is a card game loosely based off of Triple Triad with several changes better suited for real life play. The game is played on a four-by-four (4x4) square grid where cards will be placed as the game continues. The winner is the player that has captured the most cards on the field.

How to Play?:

When the game begins you start with anywhere between eight and sixteen cards. The player who goes first can choose a card to play anywhere on the grid. After you place your card it’s your opponents turn to place a card on any unoccupied space on the board. After any card is placed you can activate any card skill that can be activated and vise versa. The game continues while player’s turns alternating until all sixteen spots are taken. The winner is the player that has taken the most amounts of spaces by flipping and defeating the opponent’s cards.

Tetra battle cards are similar to Trial Triad so veteran players shouldn’t have any problem knowing the basic. The cards have 4 numbers called attack which represent each direction (top, right, bottom and left) and a level on the right corner represents the cards power which is ranked from level 1 to 4. When playing a card on the board, if your card is adjacent to an opponent’s card then it’s considered a battle, if the attack on the battle side of your card is greater than the opponent’s attack of its card’s battle side, you’ll win the battle and the card will flip to your color. On the bottom of the card are the card skills. These skills can be used once the card is placed on the grid.

Deck:

The game deck is composed of eight to sixteen cards while only eight cards can be placed on the field. You can only have a maximum of two level 4, two level 3, four level 2 and eight level 1 cards and only summon a maximum of one level 4, two levels 3, four levels 2 and eight level 1 cards on the grid.
