The Fox &Crow Tarot

The Fox and Crow Tarot is an independent, animal-centric tarot deck created by British freelance vegan pagan artist Angela Tubb. Fueled by the artist's deep passion for wildlife, the deck features foxes and crows as its central figures to explore nature and mysticism. Initially launched and fully funded on Kickstarter in 2025, the deck quickly gained popularity and sold out its initial stock before becoming available via print-on-demand marketplaces.

Core Concepts & Design

• Artistic Style: The deck relies heavily on digital art and nature-based themes. The imagery frequently incorporates pagan symbolism, including elements like the triple goddess moon, skulls, and lush greenery. • Symbology: The deck plays extensively on the unique traits, intelligence, and folklore of both foxes and crows. The cards blend these two animals into traditional tarot roles—for example, the Ace of Pentacles depicts a fox and a crow sitting peacefully together, while the Five of Pentacles portrays them navigating a modern urban environment near a trash can. • Structure: It is a complete 78-card deck following the standard tarot format (Major and Minor Arcana). The suits adapt traditional imagery to the animal kingdom, such as the King of Pentacles being reimagined as a majestic fox with antlers.
