The Potent's Odyssey

Twenty-two guardians. The walk, in your hands.

The Potent's Odyssey is a deck of twenty-two guardian stars, one card for each, set in order from Vega to Deneb. Every one is a real star you can walk outside and find. Together they make a hero's journey found in the actual sky, told in five Passages: the Gifts, the Bearing, the Winter, the Hearts and the Wings.

What this is not

It is not a fortune-telling deck, and it does not predict anything. Each card shows something you carry, a part of the walk you are on.

How it works

• Draw one card a day and read where you stand on the walk.
• Walk all twenty-two in order, from the call at Vega to the bridge at Deneb.
• Ask a question and lay the cards on one of the five lens cards: the Watchers' Wheel, the Body's Wisdom, the Shadow, the Spheres and the Great Passages.

In the box

• 22 guardian cards
• 5 lens cards
• A guidebook card that opens the full online guidebook
• A printed companion booklet

Tarot size, 2.75 × 4.75 inches, in a sturdy box.
