Fast, Furious Fun

Whims: A Game of Royal Butt-Kissing features easy-to-learn, fast-paced gameplay, and due to the random nature of King Rolphuis’s whims, no two games are the same.

At any given time, players vie to fulfill the requirements of one the king’s whims (the game’s current objective). The king’s whims are fanciful and varied and require players to accomplish several types of tasks:

• Exploring the kingdom to conquer lands and seize resources
• Raiding and capturing the lands of opponents while guarding against such attacks
• Amassing armies and supporters
• Frustrating and thwarting the plans of opponents

Though gameplay is simple, the players are faced with a wealth of interesting choices each turn, and the sparse resources of a turbulent kingdom force the players to interact with each other at every turn.

Do you wish to rush headlong into furious competition with your opponents to fulfill the current objective?
