Wordl3s

Two players compete to decode each other's secret three-letter word. Using existing words, select a question. You each have 12 chances to guess the secret word.

The important mechanic is the proprietary deduction form. The form tracks your decoding attempts.

SETUP:

Each player selects a secret word and gets a proprietary deduction form to help with the decoding of their opponent's word. Three piles are formed to display 18 words at a time. A player reveals a new card (with six words).

GAME PLAY:

A player either:

• rolls their die to selects a visible word or

• strategically picks an available word or

• attempts to guess the word.

The player writes down the word used on the form.

The player asks a question like:

• are any of the letters in the my word in your secret word?

• is your word [higher|lower] than this word?

Write down the answer to the question. Repeat until you can attempt a guess.

The score is based on number of questions taken.
