WWII TANKS

A simple, fun, game using beautiful tank paintings by Panzer Vince from the WWII ARMOR website [if you haven't visited it, you should!]. Using vehicle stats from CONFLICT OF HEROES by ACADEMY GAMES [thanks, Uwe!], each vehicle is presented as if it were a vehicle counter from a tactical board wargame. Each card has two tanks. Each tank appears 3 times in the deck. The idea is to collect the sets required [depending on the number of players] first. The deck is 54 cards [with 1 wild card] - it's an easy game. All the rules fit on 1 card.

Besides the beautiful tanks, part of the idea is to give you a game you can 'gateway' the kids into being comfortable with board wargame unit counters. Perhaps even the spouse... "Oh, these are so nice, honey! And this game is so easy to play! What a fun idea - something we can play together with the kids!"

Makes those trips to the game store/convention easier to explain, guys. Just sayin'...

Besides - it's just darn fun to play! Especially when you've got the monster game set up and are waiting for the third person to show up, but you don't want a filler that doesn't feature sloped armor...

And while adults will enjoy the game for the graphics (and use the cards as game playing aids), kids will love it because of the simplicity of play. A great introduction to young people to the wide world of wargaming and military history. My grandkids love it!

WWII TANKS is listed as 'AGE 12+' only because the parameters here on TGC only allow two options, 12+ and 18+. This should be labeled '6+ and up'.
