A Park In The Desert is a 1-2 player mint tin tile-laying game inspired by the small desert parks of Las Vegas, NV.
Build your own desert park out of cards that make up the terrain and features of the park. Create groups of sport terrains, playgrounds, and grass. Pave paths to connect your sports and surround playgrounds. But be sure not to use too much water!
Overview of how to play:
The game takes place over 3 rounds with 3 phases of drafting in each round. On your turn, you will take an available card and add it to your park.
At the end of each round, you will earn points for separate desert patches in your park, but will also lose points for any water that you're using to water your grass and baseball fields.
At the end of the game, players earn points for how their parks are formed, and the player with the most points is the winner!
"I love a good small box game with concise rules for easy setup, teaching, and take down. A Park in the Desert checks each of these on my list." - Shelby G. @boardgamesfortwo
