Description
Artful Eye puts a twist on party games by pairing scientific illustrations with whimsical prompts in a silly social competition for 3-8 players. Gameplay rewards creative interpretations to open-ended and funny prompts as well as strategic use of scientific and artistic observations. The latter may provide another route to victory!
Parents and teachers in particular will appreciate that Artful Eye emphasizes similarities between Art and Science, especially the keen observation and creativity central to both endeavors.
Artful Eye celebrates diversity and in particular, the early contributions of women to science from the 1700’s onward. The Art Cards showcase 50 / 50 male and female scientific artists with biodiversity from around the world and across the tree of life.
Famous artists featured include Maria Sibylla Merian, Ernst Haeckel, Elizabeth & John Gould, Charles R. Knight, and so many more!
