Description

Welcome to "Astro-Miners: The Grind", a thrilling board game set in the year 2243 where players take on the role of crew leads working for Asteroid Mining, Inc. As a lowly crew lead, you and your team of misfits are trying to earn enough prestige to earn your own sector of the asteroid belt.

Game Play

In this game, you'll be rolling dice and using a Liar's Dice mechanic to gain resources. You'll be placing workers according to how many dice you think are totally on the table. Each player must guess a higher amount until you think the previous player is BSing.

Players then reveal dice, and you gain credits for every worker/guess that you made and was correct. The credits are then used in an auction round, to gain cards for your deck, to help you in all aspects of the rolling, guessing and ultimately winning by having the most Prestige points.

The Progression happens after the game, where you can one card with you for every game you have played. But they don’t always have to be the same cards game to game. You can choose any of your new cards, trying out new combos and strategies as you race for the final finish line of SECTOR SUPERVISOR.

Throughout the game, players can hire new workers, robots, and ships to help them gain the most prestige. But beware, your opponents may try to sabotage your progress or steal your resources. The ultimate goal is to become the most prestigious crew lead and earn your own sector of the belt. But it’ll take many trips out to the Asteroids and ships break down and crew get hired out by other crews. Each game you can only bring some of your crew with you to the next Sector, hoping to eek out just a little more prestige.
