Description

[

Attack on Station Centauri is a cooperative game for four players. Each player commands a different crew aboard a space station: the bridge crew, the engineering crew, the medical crew, and the defense crew. Together, they must defend the station from an alien attack.

All players have their own pair of dice, which they roll each turn and share with their teammates in order to perform actions. Every outcome of 4-12 has its own potential use. The challenge is to decide how to distribute the dice in order to best utilize their random numbers. This is where players interact with each other and have to work together. To make things more interesting, sometimes one or two players will not be allowed to communicate during this process.

The dice total a player ends up with determines which action they can perform for the turn. These include such actions as: destroying an alien ship, using a special ability (which has a limited number of uses), or using the unique ability of their own crew.

After each player who can perform an action has done so, the aliens launch their next round of volleys on the station, which kills crewmembers and damages the station's hull. If too many crewmembers are lost because they have not been sufficiently protected by the team - or if the station suffers too much damage without being repaired - all players lose the game. However, if the players can first destroy enough alien ships and force those that remain to retreat, all players win the game!
