Bar? Hop In

'Bar? Hop In!' is a luck-based card game to serve as your insider's guide to local bars and craft beers in your State. From the cards to real life, the game represents our natural desire to explore different places, experiment a variety of awesome craft beers and make new friends.

The game was born with the desire to ease the planning of a craft-beer friendly adventure and to introduce the basics of craft beer and food pairing in a fun way, playing cards!

OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME To complete (4) running tabs, one in each of your bars, by building a designated sequence of cards, until each tab can be closed.

AND THE WINNER IS... The game ends with the first player to complete his/her 'beer flight' by closing all (4) bar tabs.

Players count score for their own 'beer flight' by adding the points on the 'check!' cards. Each card ending the game in the 'hold' pile can be exchanged for cards in open tabs and if any hold card remaining, it counts as (-5) points. The 'Tip Jar' card played over a closed tab counts as bonus points.

In addition to points scored, the player ending the game will score 25 bonus points. Player with the highest score wins the game.

HOW TO PLAY? Bar? Hop In! is a pick-and-play kind of game. Your goal is to be the first player to complete your 'beer flight' with the highest scoring cards closing each 'bar tab'.

A 'beer flight' is a stacking sequence of cards, just like in Solitaire! To help you memorize the stacking sequence, each card has the sequence printed on the outer ring of the card, highlighting where each card fits in.

The game is also a 'touch-play', just like in Chess where you think of the play BEFORE touching the piece you wish to move. Once you touch a card, you must finish your play action.

GAME SETUP In a nutshell: - Each player starts with 4-Bar Cards lined up as a 'beer flight' in front of each player. - Players can play cards to their own flight, to their hold pile or discard it to the table. - A 'hold' pile can be stacked in front of your own 'beer flight' to save cards for future play. Only the TOP card of the 'hold' pile is considered playable. Players are not allowed to shuffle/look through the 'hold' pile. - After shuffling all cards, except any left over Bar cards, the deck is set face down in the middle of the table. Only the FIRST card of the drawing deck is considered playable. - Players may choose to discard any undesired card, which will create a 'discard' pile in the center as well. Only the TOP card of the discard deck is considered playable.

*Beer cards are categorized by colors, including different beers styles within the same color, following a color scheme from light to dark in representation of a typical beer flight: Yellow < Orange < Red < Black.
