Welcome to Birdhouse Forest!

On an island in the middle of Lake Champlain sits a group of houses on the edge of a buggy wetland forest. As owners of these houses, you’ve collectively devised an eco-friendly way to combat the bugs, beautify your backyard, and observe birds.

In Birdhouse Forest venture into the forest to see what birds are there, and build specific birdhouses to attract them to your backyard to feast on those pesky flying insects. Whoever feeds the most bugs to birds wins!

How do you play?

Players take turns. On your turn draw a card and place a card in your backyard following your specific backyard layout. Gain the bugs and actions from this placement. Lure and feed birds with these bugs on your path to victory.

1. Draw Card
Each turn you draw a card and play a card into your backyard.
2. Build Backyard
Depending on the orientation of the card you gain resources. If you place a birdhouse instead, you get a special action.
Yard cards give bugs to spend and actions to explore and birdwatch in the forest.
3. Spend Bugs
Spend bugs to attract birds or feed the birds already in your birdhouse for more points and bugs.

How do you win?

The game ends after all players have placed all 12 cards in their backyards. Score points for the birds in your birdhouses, your binoculars, your progress on the feed track, and your set of dinosaurs from leftover black bugs. The highest score wins!
