Building Bridges

SETTING UP
Place the four coins together in a square as shown. One player owns the HEADS coins. The other player owns the TAILS coins.
PLAYING
Agree with your opponent on the length of the bridge, LONG or SHORT.
Randomly determine who will go first.
Players take turns moving one side of their bridge (both players should move exactly one side, the other remains fixed as a reference point) such that the distance increases between their two coins AND the distance is greater than the opponent’s pair of coins.
After each move, the opposing player can say “BUILD IT!” in lieu of moving their own coin again.
BUILDING
The last player to move their coin takes this card, flips it over, and lays it onto their coins so that the LONG or SHORT edge remains off the table. If the span is too great to place the bridge, the opposing player gets a chance to build. A successful bridge build scores one point.
Play continues, alternating bridge length until one player scores three points.
